Doctor of Audiology

Meet Rachel Timmons, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Rachel Timmons joined Atlantic Audiology in the fall of 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2011 and went on to complete her Doctorate of Audiology at Salus University in 2016. After nearly a decade of practicing in an ENT setting, she made the decision to transition into a private practice setting, where she could expand upon her passion for individualized, patient-centered audiological care.

She is a fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to dispense hearing aids in the State of Rhode Island. Dr. Timmons especially enjoys diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fittings, and patient education. She strives to build a long-term professional relationship with her patients and help them reconnect with the people and moments that matter most.

Originally from Southeastern Connecticut, Dr. Timmons now lives in Warwick with her husband, their two young children, and their standard poodle, Arya. In her free time, she loves reading fantasy novels, crocheting handmade gifts for friends and family, and spending time outdoors exploring new places with her family.
