Micheline Gauthier, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology/Owner of Atlantic Audiology, Inc
Meet Micheline Gauthier, Au.D.
Micheline Gauthier, Au.D., CCC-A took over as the owner and primary audiologist at Atlantic Audiology, Inc. on February 1, 2017. Dr. Gauthier received her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders (BS) (2003) as well as her clinical Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.)(2007) from the University of Rhode Island.
She brings to Atlantic Audiology more than 10 years of experience working in an ENT setting providing her with an extensive background in diagnosing and treating varied types and degrees of hearing loss. Dr. Gauthier’s passion for helping patients grew in this setting but she found that she was really looking to help patients on a more personalized level. Her transition to the private practice setting has allowed for just that.
Dr. Gauthier is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to dispense hearing aids in the State of Rhode Island. Dr. Gauthier’s special interests include patient counseling and education about hearing loss and hearing devices and combining that with her expertise in fitting of today’s most advanced digital hearing aids- we have the winning combination that makes Atlantic Audiology patients some of the most successful hearing aid users in the state!
A native Rhode Islander, Dr. Gauthier enjoys spending time by the water and becoming the owner of “Atlantic” seemed meant to be. She lives in East Greenwich with her husband Glen who can often be seen around the office helping out our team. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
